Le Champion approached us to take care of the video content for this year’s Egmond Pier Egmond and the Egmond Half Marathon. Two iconic endurance events, both set along the cold Dutch coastline in early January, conditions where the elements truly take over.

With wind chills dropping to –10°C, we filmed on the beach where athletes, spectators, and nature collided. From the start, the creative direction was clear: nature had to be the main character. The raw, unforgiving conditions shaped everything, allowing the North Sea itself to lead the story.

This vision resulted in The North Sea Symphony, a two-part visual narrative, composed for the viewer to experience and feel. Each event has its own film, designed to connect seamlessly and together tell one continuous story.
